Ultiverse

Ultiverse, a Singapore-based private firm launched in 2021, raised $4.5 million in a seed round led by Binance Labs and three other investors. seeks to combine web3 with a virtual reality-compatible universe that will host the world’s first AAA blockchain game which will be developed by using Unreal Engine 5. As a first-of-its-kind MetaFi, Ultiverse’s tokenomics promotes mutually beneficial relationships among ecosystems, where participants can benefit from community creation.

Ultiverse’s environment will allow players to import their own NFTs from many chains for usage in the virtual world, as well as customize NFTs and terrain. The appearance of NPCs will be altered based on the activities of players, creating a more immersive gaming experience. The alpha testing phase is expected to begin soon. Beta testing will begin in Q4 2022, and the Alphanet will launch in Q1 2023, according to their official website’s roadmap.

Terminus: Terminus is Ultiverse’s decentralized virtual metaverse platform, which is powered by BNB Chain and Unreal Engine 5. It’s our core hub, where users can chat with one other in real time while exploring and discovering new material. They will also have access to a variety of territories of varied sizes, where the owners will be free to build and produce whatever they choose. You can think of Terminus as the city where you are now based. Terminus, like that city, has land for dwellings, public buildings, and the economic infrastructures we see in DeFi, as well as entertainment, NFT galleries and marketplaces, Guilds, transportation hubs, and a launchpad, for users to create their own experiences and various facets of the social environment where people can interact with each other.
Terminus also acts as a portal, with gates connecting users to all the games available on the Ultiverse platform. The first of these games will be Endless Loop, an MMORPG also built on Unreal Engine 5.

Endless Loop:
In Endless Loop, the core gameplay will revolve around exploring, questing, mining, and crafting as you build up your character resources, while you’ll also be able to hunt and fight alien creatures and even domesticate and breed the more docile species in both PVE and PVP game modes. Players will be able to team up with other players to form Guilds, and ultimately lead to massive Guild wars as you fight to attain higher yields. Endless Loop features an enormous galaxy made up of numerous planets, each of which has its own unique landscapes and resources for mining, exploring, and hunting. Players can explore these galaxies, crafting and building facilities that allow them better protection from enemies or which offer higher mining efficiency.
