The Yield Hunt

What is Yield Hunt?

Yield Hunt was inspired from blockchain based “Wolf Game” which is the first game on Ethereum platform. Yield Hunt includes Wolf Game’s best features along with their own new features in this game. It’s a  P2E (Play 2 Earn) game built on top of the avalanche ecosystem.

Gameplay of YieldHunt

Yield Hunt is all about collecting the token called $GEM & $GLOW. Users use adventurers or rangers in the game, they search through the forest inorder to collect more $GEM or $GLOW. This $GEM or $GLOW can be used to recruit more adventurers/rangers or it can be sold. On the other hand, there are hunters/skeletons who can get into the forest and steal these adventurers and their $GEM/$GLOW.

Players have 90% chance to mint Rangers and only 10% chance to mint a Skeleton.

Rangers

  • Ranger enters the forest through the temple and earns upto 5000 $GLOW per day until leaving the place.
  • These Rangers bring mystic plants back to the village but if the ranger is spotted by Skeletons 20% of the ranger’s $GLOW will be given to the skeletons. Rangers have to pay a carrier to bring his treasure back to the village, the transportation cost depends on the congestion of transport routes.
  • Ranger can abort the mission if he collected 2 days worth of $GLOW and leave the underground with the $GLOW collected. Skeletons have 50% chance to steal their $GLOW
  • Rangers are trained to produce and hold more $GLOW than usual, it costs $GEM to train.
  • Each Ranger can have his own pet which give him an unique boost, to assign a pet to a Ranger needs to be at the village (unstaked)

Skeletons

  • Skeleton will share 20% of all $GLOW collected by Rangers with his Skeleton mates until he leaves the place.
  • Skeleton can bring these mystic plants back to his base. Skeletons have to pay a carrier to bring his treasure back to the base, the transport cost depends on the congestion of transport routes.
  • Skeleton leaves the forest with all the $GLOW he collected and gets back to the Skeleton base to refill his vitality using $GLOW.
  • A Skeleton can be trained to steal more $GLOW and kidnap more Rangers than usual, it costs $GEM to train a Skeleton.

Pets

Pets are creatures that can be equipped to NFTs or to your wallet, they can be minted for a varying price.

There are various rarities of pets such as Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon and Common.

Pets can be assigned to Rangers, 1 pet can be assigned to 1 NFT to whom he’ll give his boost. To assign a pet to a Ranger, the pet has to be alone and the Ranger has to be unstaked. You’ll be able to stake your Ranger with a pet assigned. To unassign a pet from a Ranger, the Duo (Ranger+Pet) has to be unstaked.

Legendary pets are different, they are made for Wallets, it means that only 1 Legendary pet can be equipped per wallet. His bonus will affect every staked Rangers of the wallet.

Glow

Glowing flowers or $GLOW is the new currency of Yield Hunt, it can be obtained by staking your Rangers and your Skeletons. These characters have a GLOW holding limit, because of their inventory that can be filled, you’ll need to claim regularly to avoid wasting farming time.

$GLOW will be used to mint Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3 and Gen 4 NFTs or to be laundered (staked) in the Temple to earn different currencies without any risk of $GLOW being stolen.

Gem

Gemstones or $GEM is the currency of Chapter 1 of Yield Hunt. It can be obtained by trading it for $GLOW (which is obtainable by staking NFTs) or by providing liquidity for the $GLOW/$AVAX pair and staking it in the Treasure Room.

GEM will be used to:

– Mint Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4 and Gen 5 Pets

– Stake in the Temple to earn different currencies without any risk of $GEM being stolen.

– Level up Rangers and Skeletons to upgrade their skills.

Inventory

Each Ranger has a limited amount of $GLOW he can carry due to his bag/inventory size. It means that Rangers will stop producing $GLOW if the inventory is full.

For example a Lvl 1 Ranger can hold 5.000 $GLOW in his Inventory, and won’t be able to produce more $GLOW once the limit is reached. In this case, the inventory must be emptied to continue producing.

This limit can be increased by leveling up your Rangers. Inventories range from max 5.000 $GLOW (Lvl 1) to max 25.000 $GLOW(Lvl 5). Leveling up your Rangers will make them produce $GLOW for longer without having to claim.

Claiming will bring back the $GLOW amount in the Inventory to 0, you can claim whenever you want, it’s probably better for you to anticipate your limit and claim before reaching it.
