Holoride

Introduction

Holoride, a Munich-based company founded in December 2018, transforms vehicles into moving theme parks by combining XR with vehicle movement and navigation data. By linking Extended Reality (XR) material with data points from the car in real-time, it establishes an entirely new media category for passengers. Physical feedback, such as acceleration and steering, traffic statistics, and trip route and time are among the data points. Holoride technology adds a new level of immersion to any VR experience, resulting in a spectacular, immersive experience while greatly reducing motion sickness.
Daniel Profendiner, Marcus Kühne, and Nils Wollny founded the company in Munich, Bayern, in 2018.

A Look Into Holoride

The goal of Holoride is to commercialize the countless hours people spend in their cars each year. Holoride and the companies with which it is partnering on in-car experiences are also anticipating a future filled with self-driving cars. Everyone in a car may be a passenger in that environment, and new entertainment offerings and subscription services could materialize. The partnership also comes at a time when VR headsets appear to be increasing popularity among customers.
Their idea comes from the massive market for in-car entertainment, which has traditionally focused solely on the drivers’ experience in the form of audio material like music and podcasts. Anything more would be extremely risky. AV devices were occasionally allowed to be incorporated into dashboards and seats, but with the development of mobile devices, the demand for such in-built gadgets has faded, and the focus is now ideally focused towards social interaction within the car itself.

The Technology

Holoride is establishing a platform for the use of emerging technologies for in-car entertainment and experiences, in addition to presenting itself as a technology driver of innovation in the automotive and entertainment industries. Holoride, Germany, has developed the technological foundations for a unique market position with its portfolio of more than 75 original patents and patent applications in the field of in-vehicle extended reality (XR). Furthermore, holoride’s collaborations with prominent automobile manufacturers including Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and Ford, as well as content makers such as Discovery Channel, Disney, and Universal Pictures, allowed it to release its first installments to the public at the greatest quality levels.

To ensure the integrity and transparency of usage data (e.g., for a fair usage-time-based compensation model for all ecosystem partners), increased security (e.g., to comply with automotive standards), and improved experience quality, Holoride uses the elrond blockchain network platform and content offering.

The tech stack will include:

Holoride App

Vehicle real time localization

Customizable Software Development Kit (SDKs)

Holoride Platform

$RIDE Token

RIDE, holoride’s token, was launched on the Elrond blockchain in December 2021. On Elrond, RIDE functions as the transactional foundation for its NFT (non-fungible token)-based content ecosystem. RIDE is intended to incentivize the use of holoride by offering additional benefits and increasing user engagement.

Holoride wants to employ RIDE to help create a sustainable economy on its platform by allowing manufacturers, content creators, brands, and passengers to trade transparently and participate in the governance of the platform and its content.

RIDE token holders will be able to get a discount on user subscriptions, digital items, upgrades, customisations, and brand placements from holoride, as well as access to special events, early access to content, and unique collectibles.
