Happy Land
In Happyland, players have the opportunity to become a farm owner, as farm owner players are able to participate in soil tillage, raise plants/cattle and decorate their farm. Happy Land is a Play-to-earn metaverse where players can easily earn a token, through raising plants/cattle and caring for their product. Happy Land metaverse is built on top of Binance Smart Chain (BSC).
Play to Earn – Happy Land Gameplay
For P2E, Players need to own land in Happy Land . Just like a real farmer, players plant seeds and raise cattles in Happy Land.
In HappyLand players need to have an initial investment of certain HPL to buy a land plot, and also to exchange it to HPW. HPW is used to buy all in-game items such as seeds and livestock.
To make a profit in HappyLand, players just need to buy seeds from the market, plant it in their plot and when it is fully grown sell it for profit.
There are many factors that can affect the productivity of your plants.
- Choosing appropriate land
- Frequency of watering the plants.
- Use of proper fertilizers
Players need to find the best strategy to improve their yield capacity
Land – When starting HappyLand, players initially have 1 house and storage area, players have to buy a segment of land that contains soil in order to plant their seed and grow their cattle.
There are 5 types of Land (Highland, Valley, Woodland, Meadow, and Euphoria) available. All these land types have their own pros and cons.
Seed Life Cycle
Forestry Plants – Players have to spend tokens and time in order to harvest the forestry plants. After harvesting the forestry plants successfully, players receive experience points and receive randomly different types of woods with different rarity scores (R1 -> R5).
Agricultural Plants – Agricultural plants Players first purchase seed with the in-game token in order to plant, each type of seed gives a different plant. Depending on the method of cultivation and the rarity of the soil different yields are produced. The time of harvest depends on the player’s choice of seed.
Factory
Players need to attain a certain amount of wood in order to unlock the factory. When unlocked, there would need to be a certain amount of time before the factory is unlocked. The length of building the factory depends on the level and type of construction.
Techlab
Players can combine different seeds to make a new seed type which produces a completely new strain.
Seeds that are produced in the techlab would have a higher rarity and also are more valuable.
After items are collected, players can use them to create different seeds, create different mutations. These different mutations can have a higher rarity and can have higher yields that are more valuable.
However, combining seeds in Happyland is also similar to real life, not all attempts to mutate seeds will lead to success. All are random. An example is depicted below.
Apart from experimenting with different kinds of seed, players can also experiment with animals or with soil/land in order to create various different animals/soil with higher rarity.
Pets & Livestocks
Players participating in HappyLand are able to raise livestock and pets. These include livestock and household animals.
Dogs – Dogs can help you defend against thieves, increase yield and productivity. (Different breeds of dogs can be raised)
Chicken & Cattles – There are 3 stages for growing cattle: (newborn, development, fully grown) Each animal would produce a different kind of animal product such as milk, eggs.
In-game shop (Marketplace)
Players can trade items in HappyLand at the in-game store (these include land plot, seed, yield, harvest, etc). At the marketplace, players can buy/sell, swap items with other players. They can trade their yield with other players, or they can sell it to receive a token.
Seasons
- Spring – Sunny weather with a higher chance of rain, springtime is an ideal condition for the cultivation of plants
- Summer – Dry weather, plants, and water need more water to grow. There is a higher chance of storms.
- Autumn – Cool weather, high chance of hail, storm, and strong rain
- Winter – Cold weather, you can only grow specific types of plants during this weather, snowing also causes the yield to decrease
Events/Mini-Games
Lot of mini games will be announced, players can participate in these games and can earn handsome rewards in return.
- Crow – There will be an event where birds fly above the sky of players’ farms. Players can play the bird hunting mini game and earn a lot of rewards in return.
- Pig Racing – It’s a type of bidding game where you predict and bid on the winning pig.
Helping Out/Stealing
In Happy Land, Players can either help out other players in farming their land and earn % of return from them based on the time spent and work done in their farm.
One more interesting concept of stealing is introduced in Happy Land, players can explore other land and are able to steal their products. There are regulations and limitations of stealing applicable. Only a certain part of the product can be stolen or certain times of visit is permitted which varies as per the level of the game. While stealing, if the player got attacked by the opponents pets/dogs then the farm owner will earn a certain % of products/rewards from the thief.
Tokenomics
HappyLand uses two tokens (HPL & HPW).
HPL token can be purchased from decentralized exchanges and this can be used to buy land and on-board players into HappyLand. Utility of HPL token is (Buying land, Staking, DAO Governance and Rewarding)
HPL can be converted to HPW. This HPW is used for all in-game transactions and it is used as in-game token and has utilities such as (buying/selling NFTs, in-game assets, products and many).
HPL has a market cap of $215,046 and has a value of $0.025 at present.
