Dogami – Petaverse for Dogs

What’s Dogami?

Dogamí is a play-to-earn, Metaverse-ready, virtual companion where players can adopt a variety of dogs and raise them. Dogami is also termed as Petaverse, where players can adopt, raise, play mini-games and earn from their pet dogs. It is developed with Unity game engine for providing an immersive experience for the users. Dogami is built on top of Tezos blockchain. 

Dogami is all about adopting, raising and bonding with your virtual NFT dog throughout the different stages of its life-cycle. Major objective of this petaverse is to develop the best and rarest Dogamí (virtual dog) which has a high value for it. 

Life stages of dogs in Dogami

Three major life cycles (puppy, adult, and spirit) that every dog will undergo in Dogami.  To level up the dog from one stage to the next, players need to nurture their Dogamí and participate in casual mini-games. 

Gameplay of Dogami

We can say that Dogami is quite similar to famous games like Tamagotchi, Aavegotchi, Gotchiverse & Nintendogs. But the experience of Dogami is something more immersive. 

Players need to actively care for their dogs to strengthen their bond and this also generates daily $DOGA rewards. In Dogami, the players undergo different activities based on their pet’s stage of life cycle. Three major life phases are puppy, adult, and spirit for every dog. Players have to play differently in each of these phases. Players can level up their Dogamí only by attaining a certain bonding level and completing milestones.

• Phase 1: Puppy – Nurture, Raise and Train your Dogamí

In this phase, players need to care for their virtual pet by completing a set of essential actions such as cleaning, playing, petting, and pottying every day. This phase creates a bond between the player and his dogami. 

• Phase 2: Adult  – Get Ready for the Dog’s Adult Life

After reaching adulthood, it unlocks different career tracks like Police dogs, Firefighter Dogs, Farmer Dogs and related training activities in the form of single-player and multiplayer mini-games. These training sessions have to be completed and games have to be won by the player in order to progress to the next level. During this phase, player can breed their dog. Training the dog regularly will grant bonding and increase daily $DOGA rewards.

• Phase 3: Spirit – Land in the Petaverse during the Spirit Phase (Yet to be revealed)

Dogamí in the Spirit Phase can be sent to the Dogamí Dojo to watch over the training & progression of younger Dogamí.
