Pegaxy – Horse Racing Metaverse

What is Pegaxy?

Pegaxy” was founded in February 2021 by Mirai Labs. The Pegaxy Metaverse is built on the Polygon Blockchain. Pegaxy is a play-to-earn Player Vs Player style horse racing game where players compete for top 3 position against 14 other racers.

 

Players are able to breed, merge, rent, sell, and race their Pega to earn VIS tokens.

 

Ways to Earn in Pegaxy

Owners and Renters can earn by

• By racing and winning in PvP mode
• By Selling high performing or newly born Pega on the Marketplace.
• By renting out the Pega in the rental marketplace. (Monthly Rent or Profit Sharing)
• Collecting rare “Founding” and “Crowned” Pega and reselling it in the marketplace.
• Competing in Pegaxy’s global competition, “The Grand Dash”. 

 

Pegaxy Gameplay

All races in Pegaxy are free to enter, the minimum requirement for a player to enter Pegaxy race is that he need to have at least one Pega(Horse). 

Race Results – the race is primarily determined by Random Number Generator (RNG). In addition, it also depends on the Pegas that participated in the race.Higher skilled players will have a better chance in top 3 placement. 

 

Right now Pegaxy is developed as a auto-racer game. But in future, Pegaxy will be shifted to a completely player controlled racing which will be a skill based gaming. 

 

First 3 players of the race are rewarded. The race rewards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd are also visible to every other players participated in the race. 

 

The Grand Dash Tournament – Year Long Tournament Mode

The Grand Dash Tournament takes the top 12 racers with the highest statistics in each class, each month! There are 11 qualification months with the Grand Dash Final that will be held in December of each year.

 

Every month,Around 60 players across 5 classes will qualify for the grand final, with 132 total racers qualifying for the Grand Final from each class (A total of 660 players all classes combined). 

 

The Grand Final is the single largest day of racing in the Pegaxy Metaverse. This event will be live streamed across all platforms with live statistics and races, spectators are able to watch from the quarterfinals, the semi-finals through to the grand final for each class.

 

The top 3 racers of each class at the end of the tournament will receive a large amount of $PGX tokens as rewards.

 

Pegaxy Breeding

Pega are metal machines, therefore when breeding, there are no restrictions. Breeding is possible with parents, children, grandchildren and so on.

 

After Breeding, the gender of a baby Pega is decided on a 50/50 basis.

 

Pegaxy Fusion

Merging two Pega is a feature, and it leads to potentially higher VIS rewards.

When a player fuse two of their Pega of the same breed type, the result is a Pega with one rarity higher than its previous.

 

The Pegaxy Rental System

Pegaxy provides an escrow account for every rental agreement that receives all rewards and automatically distributes them according to the agreed rental profit share.

 

There are three types of renting inside the Pegaxy game. These are Fixed Renting, Profit Share and Direct Rental.

 

Fixed Rental – The “Fixed Rental” system is the most traditional or “real world” renting style. Owner of Pega rent out his Pega to other player for a specific period for a particular amount per month also termed as monthly rental.

 

Profit Share – Owner and Tenant agree upon certain profit share and based on which Pega will be rented out. In profit share, whenever the Pega wins %of share agreed upon will be given to the owner of the Pega.

 

Direct Rental – Owner and Tenant have their own terms of agreement in renting out the Pega which can even be in the combined form of fixed rental and profit share. 

 

Marketplace – Pegaxy has its own native marketplace for buying and selling of Pegas. 

 

Mobile Compatibility – The Pegaxy Mobile App has launched and can now be used by anyone who owns or has rented a Pega! Currently the app is in open Beta with racing available.

 

Pegaxy Tokenomics

Pegaxy Stones (PGX) are located on the Polygon Layer 2 chain, developed as the governance token of the Pegaxy Metaverse. PGX is the governance token.

 

Utilities of PGX – Breeding Fee, Buying Pega, Staking, Grand Dash Tournament Reward.

 

Vigorus (VIX) is the utility token, Players are able to earn VIS token by racing against other players inside the game. Vigorus (VIX) is used as the in-game token for all the activities in Pega. VIX token is used to reward players who win regular races.
